An Easy Guide To Making Sprouts At Home

Sprouting at home is not only an easy process but also an essential one. You can use various seeds for sprouting, such as whole green moong, horse gram, kidney beans, chickpeas, and more.

Ingredients

1/2 cup seeds or legumes (e.g., mung beans, lentils) Water for rinsing

Step 1

Rinse the seeds and soak them in water for 8 hours or overnight.

Drain the soaking seeds and rinse them under running water.

Transfer to a sprouting jar that has a breathable lid.

Rinse and drain twice a day for 2–5 days.

Rinse until the sprouts reach the desired length (1-3 inches).
