Amaranth chilla is a nutritious and flavorful pancake made from amaranth flour and an assortment of vegetables. Packed with essential vitamins, minerals, and protein, this delightful dish offers a wholesome and delicious way to boost your health and enjoy a fulfilling meal. 

Step 1 

Combine 1 cup of amaranth flour with minced garlic, chopped onions, chopped tomatoes, chopped green chilies, and 1 cup of grated carrots in a bowl. 

Step 2 

Blend together flour, water, salt, turmeric, cumin seeds, and a little salt. 

Step 3 

Warm a nonstick pan, then add a bit of oil and a scoop of batter. 

Step 4 

Cook it until both sides are golden brown after spreading it out into a thin circle. 

Step 5 

Nutritionally dense amaranth chilla tastes great when served hot with chutney or yoghurt.
