Aloo Sem Ka Achaar: A Forgotten Pickle Recipe From Bihar

Aloo Sem Ka Achaar, a forgotten dish from Bihar, combines potatoes and broad beans in a tangy and spicy pickle. This traditional recipe offers a unique taste of Bihar's kitchen, showcasing regional flavours that deserve a comeback.

Step 1 

Boil potatoes and broad beans.

 Step 2 

Add red chili, coriander powder, turmeric, salt and let it cook until oil separates.

 Step 3 

In a big bowl add boiled potatoes and broad beans. Add kalonji, ajwain, black salt, table salt, haldi, aamchoor, hing and mustard oil and mix well.

Keep aside or sundry for a few hours for the veggies to absorb the masala and enjoy!!
