Keep Colds Away With An Ancient Korean Recipe

With a few simple ingredients you can whip up a batch of Korean Cheong, a delicious syrup to add to your tea and preserve your health this winter.

Ingredients

Lemon Ginger White Sugar Brown Sugar

Step 1

Thinly slice the lemon and ginger, and weigh out an equal amount of sugar.

Step 2

Mix together with 2/3 of the sugar and then pack it into a glass jar. Cover with the remaining sugar and leave overnight.

Step 3

Stir in the morning and store in the fridge. Use as a substitute for sugar in tea.
