The yellow mustard, as we know it today, got popular in the early 20th century, when it got paired with hot dogs in the USA.
In India, most food is cooked in mustard oil. It is good for health and for hair too. It is also used to give massages.
Mustard does not need refrigeration because of the anti-bacterial qualities it has as well as the acidity.
Mustard can be used in both hot and cold dishes. It can be used as a primary spice as well as a dip or dressing.
