Air Fryer Corn Pakodas: Healthy And Tasty Monsoon Snack

If your love for pakodas during the monsoon season is one that you must indulge in, make a healthy food choice by air frying these corn ones with minimal oil.

INGREDIENTS

1 cup corn kernels, steamed ½ onion, sliced ¼ cup gram flour 1 tablespoon rice flour 1 teaspoon red chilli powder 3 green chillies, finely chopped 1 teaspoon ginger-garlic paste 1 teaspoon cumin seeds ¼ cup chopped coriander 1 teaspoon chaat masala 1 pinch turmeric powder Salt, to taste 1-2 tablespoons oil

METHOD

Coarsely grind the steamed kernels and transfer to a bowl to combine with the remaining ingredients, except the oil.

Mix well to make a thick batter while you preheat the air fryer for 4 minutes at 200 degrees Celsius.

Oil an aluminium foil and place into the air fryer before spooning small portions of the batter in.

Drizzle a few more drops of the oil over each pakoda and cook for 10 minutes, flipping halfway.
