Considered to be a good source of complex carbohydrates, sweet potatoes take on a delicious avatar in the form of these crisp and fluffy air fryer fries. Enjoy bingeing on them with some ketchup on the side, or eat them as an accompaniment to a vegan bean burger.
2 sweet potatoes, par-boiled 1 tablespoon olive oil 1 teaspoon rice flour 1 teaspoon garlic powder 1 teaspoon red chilli powder Salt, to taste
Combine half the olive oil along with the rice flour, spices and salt in a bowl.
Peel and cut the sweet potatoes into batons and toss in the oil and spice mixture.
Grease your air fryer tray with the remaining olive oil and preheat to 190°C.
Place a few pieces of the sweet potatoes in the tray at a time and cook for 15-20 minutes, flipping halfway during each batch. Serve hot.
