This crunchy snack can give any bag of chips a run for its money, while also being healthy, tasty and packed with proteins to keep you full when you feel like snacking.
1 cup chickpeas, soak overnight 1 tablespoon rice flour 1 tablespoon olive oil 1 teaspoon red chilli powder 1 teaspoon onion powder 1 teaspoon garlic powder ½ teaspoon chaat masala ½ teaspoon cumin powder 1 teaspoon black pepper powder Black salt, to taste
Drain and rinse the chickpeas before pressure cooking it for 2 whistles, until cooked but not mushy.
Remove any excess liquid and pat it dry thoroughly.
Mix together the rice flour and all spice powders, and season with salt.
Drizzle the olive oil over the chickpeas and dust the spice-flour mix to coat it well.
Air fry at 190°C for 12-15 minutes, until they develop a nice crispy exterior.
Cool completely and store in an air-tight container.
