MS Dhoni, who has stepped down as the captain of Chennai Super Kings, is bracing up to play for the men’s Indian Premier League. The 42-year-old cricketer was the former captain of the men’s national team and has brought the country many wins in the past. Apart from his quick thinking and strategic approach, the cricketer is also known for his fitness. Here is all he eats in a day.
Reportedly, MS Dhoni prefers to start his day with fresh fruits, whole wheat bread, a bowl of porridge, and parathas. He prefers to kick-start his day with a healthy meal.
As a mid-morning snack, the cricketer prefers to keep it light and nutritious. He would either grab a delicious sandwich with nary cheese or fresh fruits.
For lunch, the former captain of the men’s cricket team prefers chicken, dal, and a plate of mixed vegetable salad. He pairs dal or gravy with roti or rice.
In the evening, MS Dhoni either drinks a glass of protein shake or fresh fruit juice. It keeps the body hydrated and provides much-needed energy for workout sessions.
Unlike breakfast and lunch, the dinner spread for MS Dhoni is light. He likes to pair roti with vegetables along with a fresh bowl of fruits on the side.
The cricketer is a fan of mill-based delights, and much like many Indians, he is a fan of tea. He has been spotted many times savouring a hot cup of tea.
To stay fit, MS Dhoni prefers to consume a balanced diet consisting of vegetables, high-protein food, and healthy fats. In 2011, he reportedly only ate khichdi during the World Cup.
