Beetroot chutney is a delicious, nutritious, and creamy recipe to add a pink hue to the festive spread. Whether you are serving bread or snacks, it pairs well with finger foods. Try this recipe.
1-2 green chillies 1.5 cups of grated beetroot 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste 2-3 red chillies 1.5 tsp chana and urad dal 1 tbsp oil Salt to taste 1 tbsp lemon juice ½ tsp cumin seeds 7-8 curry leaves
Heat a pan and saute ginger garlic paste, cumin seeds, green chillies, and red chillies.
Add grated beetroot to the pan and cook until it is soft and mushy.
Keep aside the mixture to cool off.
Add all the ingredients to a grinder and blend them into a smooth paste.
Prepare tampering of mustard seeds, urad dal, chana dal, and curry leaves.
Add a drizzle of lemon juice on top of the chutney.
