Aamras is a popular mango delicacy from the western Indian states of Maharashtra and Gujarat. It is usually enjoyed on its own or paired with hot pooris. Here is an easy recipe to prepare this delight at home.
2 mangoes sugar to taste ¼ cup milk or water Few strands Saffron
Peel the mango, make the pieces and take them into the blender jar. Add milk and sugar. Blend it into a smooth puree.
Remove it to a bowl and add saffron. Mix well, chill aamras in the fridge for an hour before serving.
Serve in a bowl. and enjoy.
