Aam Panna: How To Make Summer’s Coolest Mango Drink

Aam Panna is a classic Indian summer drink made with unripe mangos. It has a tangy and refreshing flavour and is a great way to aid digestion and keep your body hydrated during the hot weather.

Ingredients

2 medium-sized raw mangoes 4 cups water 8- 10 mint leaves 1/4th tsp black pepper powder 1 tsp roasted cumin powder ½ cup sugar (to taste) ½ tsp salt (to taste) ½ tsp black salt Ice cubes (for serving)

Step 1

Cook the raw mangos until they turn mushy, and allow them to cool. After they are cooled, scoop out the pulp.

Step 2

Mix the pulp with sugar, salts, black pepper powder, cumin powder and mint leaves to form a concentrate.

Step 3

Mix the concentrate with water according to your desired consistency.

Step 4

Add ice, garnish with mint leaves for a burst of aroma, and serve.
