Made with unripe mango and a few spices, aam panna is a natural coolant. Here is the recipe, enjoy with your family.
1 kg green mangoes, 4 tsp roasted cumin powder, 2 tsp black salt, salt to taste, 3 cups sugar
Wash and boil the mangoes. Let them cool. Then peel, mash and strain the pulp.
Add five cups of water and mix well and cook till well blended. Add the cumin powder, black salt, salt and sugar.
Mix well till sugar is dissolved. Set aside to cool. Chill in the refrigerator. Pour aam panna in a glass and serve immediately.
