A Zero-Waste Recipe For Crunchy Potato Chips

There’s no reason not to love potatoes. They’re perfect in every situation. So why do we waste the peels? Try this simple recipe to make crunchy snacks from potato skins.

Ingredients

1 cup potato peels use more or less depending on how much you want to make ½ tablespoon olive oil ½ teaspoon salt

Step 1

Wash the potatoes thoroughly. Peel them and soak the skins in cold water for 30 minutes. They take them out and dry them thoroughly. 

Step 2

Spread the skins in a single layer on a baking sheet and drizzle with oil. You can add additional seasonings at this stage.

Step 3

Bake the potato skin chips in the oven for 15-18 minutes at 200ºC. until they're crispy and then toss in any additional seasonings.
