Introducing the Ginger-Whiskey Cocktail, a refreshing and spicy twist on a classic whiskey drink. This cocktail combines the warmth of whiskey with the zing of ginger for a well-balanced and flavourful sip.
60 ml blended Scotch whisky 30 ml of ginger liqueur, such as Domaine de Canton 30 ml of fresh lemon juice 15 ml of honey syrup (equal parts honey and hot water, stirred until dissolved) 4 thin slices of fresh ginger root Ice cubes Lemon wheel for garnish
In a cocktail shaker, muddle the ginger slices to release their flavours.
Add the whisky, ginger liqueur, lemon juice, honey syrup and ice.
Shake vigorously for 10–15 seconds until well chilled.
Double strain into a chilled coupe glass to remove the ginger pieces
Garnish with a lemon wheel speared on a cocktail pick.
