A Delicious Winter Treat, Ram Ladoo - Popular Street Item In Delhi

Ram Ladoo is a tasty chaat made from fried moong dal and chana dal pakoda, topped with radish and chutney.

Step 1

¼ cup (50 grams) Soak Chana dal and ½ cup (120 grams) moong dal in 1.5 cups water for about 3 to 4 hours or overnight.

Step 2

Drain the water and grind them into paste, add peeled and chopped ginger, chilli , ½ teaspoon cumin seeds,1 pinch asafoetida & salt.

Step 3

Blend it, for a nice textured consistency. Before frying beat batter vigorously at least for 2 to 3 minutes to make it fluffy.

Step 4

In hot oil deep fry the fritters till golden brown.

Step 5

Assemble them in a plate add your favourite coriander-pudhina chutney on top.

Step 6

Garnish them with grated radish. Sprinkle some chaat masala and squeeze lemon on top. Serve & enjoy!
