Sameera Reddy's Veg Stew Recipe For Your Next Meal

Sameera cooks  stew as it's "the once-a-year bahu cooks day." Here is Sameera’s version of the dish.

Ingredients

2 tbsp coconut oil
2 cloves / lavang
1 inch cinnamon 2 pods cardamom 1/2 onion, sliced
few beans, chopped 1/2carrot, chopped 1/2potato, cubed peas/matar cauliflower florets 2 green chilli, slit ( optional) ginger, & garlic 1 cup water salt 2 cup thick coconut milk

Step 1

Heat the coconut oil in a big kadai and sauté the cardamom, cloves, and cinnamon.

Step 2

Add the onion and sauté it for a minute.

Add the vegetables and mix with a few curry leaves, water, and salt.

Step 4

Add coconut milk and cook the vegetables in it.

Cover and boil until the vegetables are nicely cooked.
