Momo

Everywhere you go, momo is a common and well-liked street meal, and Darjeeling is no exception. It's one of the best street foods in Darjeeling and comes with hot soup. Depending on your preferences, you can have vegetarian or non-vegetarian momos.

Thukpa

You must be aware of Thukpa, and we are happy to inform you that it is widely served in Darjeeling as well. It is served in both restaurants and shacks and is thought of as a starter. It's a spicy noodle soup with veggies and bread crumbs, and, if it's not vegetarian, chunks of meat are used.

Aloo Dum

The dish was undoubtedly prepared in Bengali and Nepali homes in the past. However, it became extremely popular in Darjeeling. This dish consists of boiled potatoes, onion, garlic, and a must-have red chilli, all combined in a thick gravy.

Sekuwa

These are basically Nepalese-style kebabs. To prepare this dish, the raw meat is mixed with natural herbs, spices, and other ingredients and is then roasted in a natural wood fire.
