Iodine is an essential mineral you must get from your diet. Iodine deficiency can lead to swelling of the thyroid gland, known as goiter, and hypothyroidism, which can cause fatigue, muscle weakness and weight gain. Here are 8 foods rich in Iodine to include in your diet.

The majority of iodine in eggs are found in the yolk. On average, one large egg provides 16% of the daily recommended amount.
