Keeping dessert fresh is especially tricky and only very few dry desserts actually have shelf life that goes past 3-4 days. Here are some hacks that will help you keep your baked goods fresh for longer:

For layered cakes that have cream and frosting, wrap each layer separately and refrigerate it.

Place the uncovered pie on a baking sheet and freeze for about two hours, before wrapping in a layer or two of plastic wrap.

For singular pieces like brownies, use baking and cooking paper to keep the slices apart.

If you have leftover birthday cake, slice them and freeze them so they're fresh and don't fall apart

Simply store chewy cookies with half a slice of white bread to keep them fresh. The cookies soak up the moisture from the bread, which helps it stay fresh
