Who can say no to French fries? Nobody can, but many have to for health reasons. Skip all that guilt and use these easy tricks to give French fries a healthy twist.
Instead of frying them, use an oven to bake or grill the fries after parboiling them.
Instead of potatoes, use healthier veggies like sweet potatoes, zucchini, beetroot, carrot, etc.
Just drizzle the potatoes with olive oil and air fry them to get crispy but healthy French fries.
Instead of thin cuts, cut bigger wedges of the potatoes. Less surface area, less exposure to trans fats!
Use oils with high smoking points, like sunflower oil, sesame oil, avocado oil, to prevent trans fats.
Too much sodium can impact blood pressure & heart health. Skip the salt in your French fries.
Adding vinegar to the fries can not only make them salty, but also improve insulin sensitivity.
