Paratha is among the most common flatbreads prepared across India. When paired with curries or stuffed with spiced fillings, it completes a meal. Here are some unique stuffings that give this traditional delight a modern twist.
In most restaurants, you will find paneer paratha. However, you can make it more nutritious by adding spinach to the mix and making it rich in iron.
Matar paratha is common in India but a unique twist will be if you blend peas with mint and prepare a spiced mixture for stuffing.
Chop mushrooms and saute them with garlic and spices. Fill this mixture into a dough and roll it. This unique paratha will become your favourite.
If you are a vegan, stuff the paratha with a spiced mixture of tofu. Sprinkle sesame seeds on the top and press with your hands. You will enjoy the nutty flavour.
To make a cheese paratha spicy, stuff it with chopped jalapeno. This unique recipe will pair well with a yoghurt dip or raita.
Beetroot and carrot is an amazing combination to make the paratha nutritious and healthy. Add a few fresh herbs to make the stuffing delicious.
