Coriander leaves are quintessential for garnishing Indian snacks and curries. They add a refreshing touch and green hue to the recipe. However, they get ruined quite easily. Here is how you can store them in the refrigerator.

Wrap In Towel

Use a paper towel to store coriander leaves. It will absorb excess moisture and prevent the leaves from going bad.

Freeze

You can add coriander leaves to an ice cube tray and freeze them with water. Whenever you want to garnish, defrost the cube, and use the leaves.

Use Vase

You can use a glass vase to store coriander leaves. Fill it with water enough to immerse the base. It will keep the leaves fresh for a long time.

Chop & Store

You can pick the leaves and discard the stems. Line the container with tissue and store the leaves. They will remain fresh for a week.

Breathable Mesh

If you want to delay chopping and cleaning, store the bunch of coriander in a breathable mesh. The ventilation will keep the leaves fresh.

Zip-lock Bag

Clean the leaves, dry them slightly, and wrap them in a couple of tissue papers. Use a zip-lock bag to store the leaves in the refrigerator.
