Chicken cutlets are popular chicken snacks in every Indian household. They are crispy on the outside while tender on the inside. They don't require much preparation or expertise and are often served with various condiments like ketchup or any sauce or chutney of your preference.
Always make sure you use the best quality chicken as your cutlets will turn out tender and flavourful only if your chicken is up to the mark.
Marinate your chicken with a variety of spices and ingredients like chilli powder, yoghurt, ginger-garlic paste, and more for flavourful results.
Make sure that you mash all the ingredients before you use them as a filling for your cutlets. It will create a uniform texture and flavour.
Once you are done mashing the ingredients, add 1 tbsp of cornstarch as a binding agent so that your filling binds well.
Coat your cutlets well with either breadcrumbs or oats to give your cutlets a crispy texture when they are cooked.
Avoid cooking on a high flame as it can cause your cutlets to burn. Cook on a low flame for an even cooking.
Once you are done cooking, make sure to drain the excess oil off and let the cutlets rest. It will result in a more appetising snack.
