Much like white rice, you should soak brown rice as well. Immerse grains in the optimum amount of water and keep them aside for at least 30 minutes.

It is crucial to add the optimum amount of water to cook rice. If you are adding a cup of grains, pour at least two cups of water to cook it to perfection.
