The amount of added sugar in prepackaged meals is high, which can seriously affect your metabolism. It can result in tooth decay, high cholesterol, heart disease, diabetes.
Trans fat, which comes from hydrogenated oil, is added to pre-packaged food to extend its shelf life, which is linked to heart disease, stroke, and heart attacks.
Pre-packaged have additives added to them to improve their appearance, including olestra, aspartame, artificial colours, and flavors—can be hazardous to health.
Almost all the packed food include artificial flavourings, colourants, preservatives, and texturizing agents.
The bread sold in stores contains a lot of processed carbs. Refined carbs can have a negative impact on your health by raising insulin and blood sugar levels.
Only meals made from plants contain fibre. Pre-packaged foods hardly ever come from plants, hence they lack fibre.
Immediate packaging is readily available in the market. But, use caution as they contain a tonne of bacteria that might induce diarrhoea or stomachaches.
