For most people, it is hard to hear the word snack and not a plate of deep-fried ingredients put together. However, not for Gujaratis. The regional cuisine offers a diverse range of snacks, fried as well as non-fried, for gastronomes to explore.
Handvo is a baked savoury cake made using a mix of rice and lentil batter. Vegetables and spices are added to amplify the flavour and make it nutritious.
