Gujarati snacks are the best - ask any foodies and they will confirm. They are the perfect blend of salty and sweet notes. However, except for dhokla and fafda, not many people know about other varieties of Gujarati snacks. Here are a few that you must try.

Dabeli

Dabeli is a Gujarati cousin of Maharashtrian vada pav. Spiced potatoes are added between two slices of a bun and topped with sev, chutneys, and pomegranate seeds. 

Ganthiya

Ganthiya is a deep-fried crispy snack that you can make at home with gram flour and store for weeks. It pairs well with green chutney.

Muthiya

Muthiya is nothing but steamed dumplings filled with a spiced mixture of methi leaves, bottle gourd, and other vegetables.
