Alphonso is one of the most expensive varieties of mangoes in India that is mostly grown in Maharashtra.
Mild in taste with a greenish hue, totapuri is mainly grown in Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
With its sweet and slightly tangy taste, sindhura mangoes are mostly used for preparing shakes.
Identified with its golden-yellow colour and extremely sweet pulp, chausa is very popular in North India.
Mostly grown in Old Mysuru, this variety of mangoes is commonly used in yoghurt, smoothies and jam.
Being a speciality of Bengal and Orissa, this sweet fruit is greenish in colour with a yellow pulp.
Langra mangoes are very famous in Uttar Pradesh and Bihar and is available in July and August.
