Not Respecting The Proper Order 

Follow the recipes as it is supposed to be to get the best curry in hand. While making a curry, don’t rush and stop putting all the ingredients together. This will completely ruin the dish.

Forgetting To Thicken The Gravy 

A great gravy will have a thick and smooth gravy that will elevate the experience to a new height. This is the reason why restaurants and dhabas taste so velvety and satisfying.

Tasting The Curry Directly When It's Made 

It is important to keep tasting and checking the curry to see what’s missing. This helps to make a quick change as the curry hasn’t been made yet.

Messing Up With Salt 

Salt is the most indispensable ingredient in every cuisine. Getting the right measurement of your salt is done only by practice and making food over time.

Being Too Hasty 

Everyone has a busy schedule and to save their time people rush their cooking process. Although this is understandable, this should ruin the curry in the making.

Undercooking Spices

Cooking off the spices allows them to release their full aroma and flavour which keeps the curry from tasting raw, but be careful not to burn them.

Adding Too Much Liquid

It's tempting to add a lot of coconut milk or water to thin the dish, but will be hard to thicken again. Add liquids in small amounts to avoid this.
