In summer, you need recipes that require you to spend less time in the kitchen, but they also offer solutions to your hunger pangs. Many Indian snacks are easy to prepare, and some don’t even require cooking. Here are a few recommendations for you.
Made with puffed rice, all you need to do is mix mur-mure with boiled potatoes, chopped onions, sliced tomatoes, lemon juice, green chutney, tamarind chutney, and lemon juice.
For this, you can prepare in advance. Prepare deep-fried vadas and store them in the refrigerator. Whenever you feel hungry, add chutneys and curd on the top and enjoy.
You store boiled chana in the fridge or pressure cook it in the evening. Once it cools off, add chopped vegetables, coriander leaves, and lemon juice to prepare the chaat.
If you have frozen corn in the refrigerator, boil them. Drain the excess water, add salt to taste, lemon juice, and chaat masala. You will love this healthy and low-calorie snack.
This is another popular chaat variant made in North Indian households. Crunchy papdis are assembled with curd, chutneys, potatoes, pomegranates, and other delightful ingredients.
In the summer season, you cannot miss preparing mango chaat. Combine chopped mangoes, onions, and tomatoes, and top the mixture with chaat masala and lemon juice.
Slice the vegetables, spread your favourite mayonnaise on bread slices, and layer the vegetables with lettuce, meat of your choice, and cheese. Grill the sandwich and have it with coffee or juice.
