Jodhpur is known for many things but one of its most popular attractions is its local cuisine. The city has some of the best savoury items and sweet delicacies which draws tourists every year. Here are some of the most iconic dishes of Jodhpur.

Makhaniya Lassi is a famous traditional drink in Jodhpur. It's thick and creamy buttermilk-based beverage sweetened with sugar and flavoured with cardamom. It is often garnished with chopped dry fruits.

This is a quintessential Rajasthani dish that consists of three main components: dal, baati (hard wheat rolls), and churma (sweet crumbled wheat). The baatis are baked or grilled, and then served with dal and churma. It's a hearty and flavourful dish.
