Eating too quickly can cause you to swallow air and lead to air accumulation in the stomach and intestines. So, eat slowly.
Overeating is one of the major causes of bloating and discomfort, so choose smaller meals with greater frequency.

Some foods like cauliflower, broccoli and cabbage can release gas as a byproduct when being digested in the stomach.
Carbonated drinks contain carbon dioxide, which increases the amount of gas released in the stomach and causes bloating.
Apart from sugary desserts, you should avoid artificial sweeteners like sorbitol as they are difficult to digest and lead to bloating.
