If you have a rabbit at home giving you company at night and waking you up in the morning, you are probably obsessed with their cuteness. However, when it comes to feeding them, there are certain foods that you must not give them.
Rabbits are lactose intolerant, therefore, every dairy product is out of reach for them. It can upset their stomach and cause diarrhoea.
Beans have a high amount of sugar which can lead to digestive ailments among rabbits. Bloating and gas can also cause pain.
Onion, chives, and garlic are a big no-no for your bunny as they can lead to blood disorders among them.
Much like most animals, chocolates are toxic for bunnies too. These can lead to seizures, heart issues, and digestive problems.
Bread, pasta, roti, and cereals are also not made for your rabbit’s stomach. It will make them obese and adversely impact their health.
Bunnies are vegetarians, therefore, you must not feed them eggs or even meat. These foods can lead to serious health issues.
Certain varieties of mushrooms contain toxins which can severely impact your bunny. These can even lead to death.
