Rabbits are among the most common pets people keep after dogs and cats. They are furry little animals that hop around the house searching for food. While nothing beats hay and palette, here are some safe human foods you can feed them without upsetting their tummy.

Spinach

Spinach is a leafy green vegetable that helps to keep the rabbits fit. Not only is it safe for them to consume but it also helps to increase the platelet count.

Coriander

Coriander is another leafy green vegetable that you can feed your furry friend and they would love it. The leaves are no less than a delicious treat for them.

Basil

Try to find basil in the farmer’s market or food aggregator platforms. Once your rabbit tastes it, they will chew it all, along with its stems.

Celery Leaves

If your bunny isn’t too moody (yes! They can be), try feeding them celery, especially its leaves. The furball will love it and the stem will provide hydration.

Cucumber

Most rabbits don’t drink water as much as they should. One of the best ways to keep them hydrated is to feed them cucumber.

Bananas

Much like humans, bunnies also have a thing for sweet fruits. Bananas are among them. Make sure to give these in small amounts just like treats.

Cherries

Cherries or strawberries are among the delightful treats that can leave your rabbit twerking. It will make them happy and leave their mouths red.
