Crispy cornice is a healthy delicious snack that a person can enjoy for mid-meal munching too. You can make it healthier by cooking corn kernels in an air fryer with a limited amount of oil. Here is a step-by-step guide for you to try the recipe and impress your guests with your cooking skills.

If you have frozen corn kernels, you need to boil them to retain their juicy texture. The kernels can either be boiled on a stove or microwave.

For 1.5 cups of corn, add at least two tablespoons of cornstarch. This ingredient is responsible for the crispy texture.

Mix cornstarch nicely using a fork. You can also add salt and sprinkle some spices on the top, like red chilli powder and black pepper powder, to elevate the flavours.

While you are preparing corn kernels for frying, preheat the air fryer for at least 5 minutes at 176°C.

Add kernels in an aluminium foil and slide it into the fryer. Allow the corn to fry without oil at 176°C for 15 minutes, but keep stirring in between.

Once the kernels are crispy, take them out and add chopped onions. You can also top them with chopped coriander leaves and lemon juice.
