Do Not Overcook

The worst thing that you can do is overcook a piece of meat because you are afraid of serving it undercooked. Use a thermometer to check the ideal temperature and turn off the flame at the right time.

Cooking Veggies Separately

If you decide to roast chicken breasts with veggies, you cannot be more wrong. Meat needs more time to cook compared to veggies. Moreover, juice from meat can make vegetables soggy.

Defrost Meat

Chicken breasts are lean and must not be cooked cold. The outer layer will be cooked while the middle portion will remain uncooked or undercooked. It is better to let chicken breasts defrost for a while.

Don't Slice Too Soon

If the cooked chicken breasts seem irresistible to you, and you instantly pick a knife to slice them, note that you are depriving the meat of all its juices. Even if cooked to perfection, it can taste dry.

Cooking On Hot A Pan

If you start cooking chicken breasts in a cold pan, it will take time for the meat to heat up. However, it would soon secrete its juices. Instead of stir-frying or roasting, you will cook the meat in steam.

Don't Wash Chicken

Meat contains germs and contamination which cannot be washed or rinsed. Instead, you will end up contaminating your utensils, sink, and counter. Always pat dry with a paper towel, and heat will kill germs.

Don't Reheat Meat

Reheating meat again and again will compromise its texture. Chicken breasts will become dry and chewy. Therefore, if you have cooked a large amount, heat a portion you can consume for a meal.
