Corn is a versatile ingredient used to prepare snacks. It is healthier than many alternatives and does not kill your appetite for dinner. Here are some snacks that you can make during monsoon and enjoy the sight of rain washing your entire city.

Boil a bowl full of corn kernels and drain the water. Add chaat masala, a pinch of red chilli powder, black salt, butter, and lemon juice. It tastes delicious.
After boiling the corn, drain the water, and toss the kernels in a mixture of rice flour and maida. Deep fry them and serve with a sprinkle of salt and pepper.
You can mash boiled corn and mix it with potatoes and other spices. Make small tikkis and shallow-fry them until crispy. Serve them with tea or between bun slices.
When you don’t want to cook, make corn salad. Toss boiled kernels with chopped cucumber, onion, bell pepper, and tomatoes.
