West Bengal is known for its rich culinary heritage. But when it comes to cooling beverages for the summer season, this state isn't behind there either. With so many options using staple pantry ingredients, these drinks are must-haves for their exceptional flavour and ease of preparation.

Gondhoraj Lebu Sharbat

A cooling drink made from the aromatic Gondhoraj lebu (a type of lime), sugar, and water, often garnished with mint leaves.

Tal Shash Bhaja Sharbat

A refreshing drink made from the juice of palm fruit which is then mixed with fried palm fruit slices, sugar, and water.

Gurer Shorbot

A special summer drink made from Gur (date palm jaggery), water, and a hint of lemon juice, known for its rich and unique flavour.

Gondhoraj Ghol

A delicious twist on lassi which incorporates gondhoraj lime in it. It lends a unique flavour to the drink and is ideal for summertime.

Doi Er Ghol

Doi er ghol is a yoghurt-based drink but quite different from Lassi. It is sweetened with jaggery and features a spice mix called Bhaja Moshla made using cumin, coriander, and fennel seeds.
