Don't skip breakfast entirely since it leads to overindulging in carbs and sugary foods later in the day. Eat high-fibre foods like oats, apple, and veggies for breakfast.
Dietary fibre is crucial in regulating blood and a low-fibre breakfast can cause your blood sugar to spike along with quick digestion.
You must exercise portion control because even healthy foods if consumed in excess can spike your blood sugar.
Indulging in store bought muesli, cereals, pastries, and baked goods is a sure shot way to spike your blood sugar. Even if they are marketed as healthy, be sure to check their labels.
Protein is essential for keeping you full for longer just like fibre. Eat foods like eggs, tofu, paneer, lean meats for a healty protein breakfast.
The hunger levels increase significantly if you eat late which results in overeating.
Make sure you incorporate all the essential nutrients in your breakfast. Consume at least 300 calories with balanced macros.
