Italian cuisine is popular because they are the master of blending flavours. And when it comes to dessert the country offers a huge selection of sweet delights that intrigue the taste buds worldwide. Here are some of the well-known desserts known for their taste.

Tiramisu, a traditional layered cake, is served with cream and sponge drenched in coffee and dusted with bitter dark cocoa powder. A heavenly dessert that balances the sweetness and the boldness of espresso.

Even though gelato is a very basic frozen dairy dessert made with cream, milk, sugar, and air, it always seems to hit the spot.
