Tiramisu

Tiramisu, a traditional layered cake, is served with cream and sponge drenched in coffee and dusted with bitter dark cocoa powder. A heavenly dessert that balances the sweetness and the boldness of espresso.

Even though gelato is a very basic frozen dairy dessert made with cream, milk, sugar, and air, it always seems to hit the spot.

  A classic Italian Christmas dessert, panforte is prepared by encasing fruit, nuts, and spices in a sticky mixture of flour, sugar, and honey. Panforte is thicker and more cake-like than florentine biscuits, but it has a similar consistency.
