There are certain types of tools in the kitchen to make cooking and cleaning easier. Some has gained popularity while some has remained underrated over time. One of these tools that is hardly talked off is kitchen towel. Thus we have collated the best way to use kitchen towels apart from cleaning dishes, drying hands and moping the countertops. You might have often noticed that chopping board sliding from the countertop while you are cutting any ingredient, this leading to accidents. To prevent such case, always put a damp towel below the board.
When you don't find a kitchen pincer, you hold the hot containers with the kitchen towel. Make the towel thick to hold it. Make sure the cloth is not damp.
You can use kitchen towel to soak excess oil from fried foods like pakodas, samosas, etc. Place the towel on a plate and shift the fried foods to it.
A dough for roti, paratha and puri should be kept at rest after kneading. Always cover the dough with a tamp towel and keep it to rest.
Glass tables are delicate and often gets scratched when placed a hard and sturdy utensil on it. Cover the space with a kitchen towel and then place the utensil to avoid scratch.
Clean the green herbs, let it dry and wrap them with a kitchen towel before string them in refrigerator.
To open a tight lid of a jar, place the towel on it to create a grip and twist. The lid will open easily.
