Samosa is one of the favourite Indian street foods. It is a triangular, deep-fried dish that encases a filling typically comprised of spices, potatoes, and peas and sometimes has other ingredients like meat, soya, etc. Samosas are often enjoyed with tangy chutneys. Here are the different types of samosas to enjoy:  

Vegetable Samosa  

This is a traditional, classic snack that is available all across the country. They are made with a savoury mixture of potatoes, peas, carrots, and spices. 

Kheema Samosa  

Instead of vegetables, this samosa is made of minced meat, particularly lamb or beef, and is cooked with spices or herbs. 

Paneer Samosa  

In this type of samosa, paneer is used as the primary filling, along with spices, peas, and sometimes nuts. 

Chicken Samosa  

This variation of samosa is different as the filling is made of minced chicken instead of lamb, beef, or vegetables.   

Spinach And Cheese Samosa  

This version of samosa is mixed with a filling of spinach, cheese, and some popular spices.  

Chana Dal Samosa

Chana dal, or split chickpeas, are cooked with spices like turmeric, red chillies, and garam masala and are used as a filling for the samosa.
