Dry fruits not only add to the richness and royalty of Indian sweets, but they elevate the flavour profile and also help you choose some healthier dessert options. Here are some traditional Indian sweets you can make with dry fruits.
Chikki is a popular Indian sweet made with jaggery or sugar syrup and a mix of dry fruits and nuts.
Laddu can be made by mixing a mixture of dry fruits, ghee and any of your preferred ingredients like suji, besan, or dal.
Made with a blend of dry fruits like almonds, cashews, and pistachios with khoya and sugar, you can enjoy soft barfi.
Halwa can be made more indulgent by mixing in a mix of dry fruits with any base like atta, suji, dal, etc.
