6 Types Of Indian Breads

India has a lot of diversity, not only in culture but in food. Likewise, India also has a variety of different flat-breads that are eaten in different parts of the country. Here are 6 of them.

Paratha

Everybody's favourite Paratha can be eaten in all three meals. It can be plain, stuffed, veg, non-veg and even sweet! Have it with butter, pickle, curd or ketchup.

Bhature

Punjab and Delhi's favourite breakfast - Bhature along with chhole can be the best possible start to your morning. These huge bhature are very filling too!

Roti

There is nothing more comforting than hot roti with a dollop of ghee on top of it. Roti or chapati is the most commonly eaten flat bread in India.

Luchi

Crispy, hot luchi with mutton curry or aloo-dum is the ultimate favourite Sunday brunch of every Bengali. Slightly smaller than a typical poori, you can never just stop at 2-4 luchi!  

Thepla

This breakfast flat bread from Gujarat is the perfect blend of comfort meets flavour! A good thepla in the morning can totally make your day great.

Naan

Butter naan or garlic naan - a fluffy, flaky naan always makes your meal better. Butter chicken and dal makhani are incomplete without having naan to dip in them.
