Indians love to snack on Bread Pakoda, which is a tasty treat that is often eaten with tea. To get good at this snack, you need to pay attention to the details and practise. Here are some tips to follow
Thick slices of white bread or sandwich bread, which hold their shape better during frying.
Create a flavourful filling by combining mashed potatoes with spices like cumin, turmeric, and chili powder. Add chopped green chilies and coriander for an extra kick.
Make a thick batter using gram flour, rice flour, and spices such as ajwain, turmeric, and salt. The batter should be smooth and thick enough to coat the bread slices evenly.
Dip each bread slice into the batter, ensuring it's fully coated on both sides.
Heat oil in a pan and fry the coated bread slices until they turn golden brown and crispy on both sides. Enjoy the crispy Bread Pakodas hot with chutney or ketchup for a delicious snack or tea-time treat.
