Have you ever tried boiling potatoes in a microwave? They either look dehydrated or raw. However, a few tips and tricks can help you achieve perfectly boiled potatoes in just a few minutes, and the oven will become your best companion that will help you work fast and save time in the kitchen.

Rinse and peel potatoes to ensure there are no impurities. This will improve the process of cooking and ensure that potatoes take less time to cook.

After cleaning, dice the potatoes. You need to ensure that each piece has a uniform size. It will facilitate even cooking from all sides and boiling of potatoes to perfection.

Add these pieces to a microwave-safe bowl, add water, and cover the lid. Make sure to use a lid with an opening to encourage the steam to escape.

Once the bowl is placed inside the microwave, set the timer for 7-8 minutes. Keep stirring the potatoes after every couple of minutes to ensure they cook from all sides.

After the time goes off, take out the potatoes, and use a fork to check every piece has cooked. If not, the boiling process continues for a couple of minutes more.
