6 Summer Drinks For Diabetics

Diabetics should be hydrated at all times, and we have some healthy ideas that go beyond plain water.  

Lauki Juice 

90 percent of lauki is just water, it is also a low-cal and low carb vegetable that can be used to make a simple juice.  

Karela Juice 

Through its insulin-like compound called Polypeptide-p or p-insulin, bitter gourd helps manage Diabetes naturally. Blend some apples in the juice to make your juice more palatable.   

Lemon Water 

Simple and classic. Diabetics should load up on vitamin C as it is a powerful antioxidant. Do not add sugar to this nimbu paani. 

Neer Mor 

South Indian summer-staple Neer Mor, is a probiotic buttermilk made with curd, green chillies and ginger. It will help keep your gut healthy and blood sugar in control.  

Jaljeera
