In addition to being the cleanest city of India, Indore is also a haven for foodies. From Poha jalebi to garude ki chaat, there’s something for everyone.
Quite easily the crown jewel of Indore’s Street food fare. Poha refers to mild and lightly tempered rice flake that are topped with sev and onions, another companion is a good ol’ jalebi.
Kopra is another word for coconut. Made from mashed potatoes stuffed with coconut shavings, these deep-fried patties are available at Vijay Chaat House.
A winter-special snack, made with chopped up yam or Garadu. Boiled garadu is tossed with tangy and spicy masalas, finished off with lime juice.
No ham or sausage here. This Indore-special snack comprises a well-cooked and spiced mutton patty between a soft bun with chutney and onions
Move over omelette bread, when in Indore, try this eclectic snack with omelette tucked in between a sliced bun.
