Whether you are lactose intolerant or prefer a vegan diet, oat milk can be a good option. If you are buying it from the market, know that it might contain preservatives and chemicals. Here is a quick recipe for how to make it at home.
3 cups water ½ cup rolled oats ½ tsp salt 2 tsp maple syrup ½ tsp vanilla essence
The first process is to source quality ingredients from the market. Oats should be clean and other ingredients should be free from preservatives.
Add all the ingredients to a grinder and blend them into a smooth concoction with a water-like consistency.
Place a mesh over a strainer and pass the white runny mixture.
Wash the mesh and strain the combination again. This is an optional step which you can skip if you are happy with the concoction.
Keep the milk in the refrigerator or use it to make your morning tea or coffee.
